Beetroot Bull’s Blood There are many reasons for growing this variety in your garden. Firstly, add colour and flavour to your salad mix with this beets sweet, deep burgundy leaves which can be harvested after just 5 weeks. If you keep them moist they will resprout for a second salad cut. Secondly, the dark red roots are full of flavour and have an attractive striped interior, these are ready after about 9 weeks but can be pulled earlier for lovely mini beets.
