Chicory Brussels Witloof This forcing variety produces one of the finest and tastiest winter salads. Sow from May to September to harvest August to December. It needs to be blanched to obtain the characteristic pale yellow, but can be cut young for use without blanching. Chicory Rossa di Treviso Organically sourced Sown in June and July for enjoying the lovely flavour in the Autumn/Winter. It has long pointed leaves that start off green but turn redder in the colder months to add even more colour to your meals. This variety can also be forced for chicons. Price for 40 seeds	Chicory Rossa Di Verona Dragon Organically sourced Sow from June to October to harvest and enjoy as summer and autumn salad leaves. Leave to grow on and you will be able to cut the rosette heads in the spring. This heirloom variety has tight heads of deep red leaves with white ribs. Try it grilled in the winter. Chicory Sugar Loaf (Pain De Sucre) Awarded an AGM by the RHS, this variety has dark green leaves that blanch well in the winter to give you creamy coloured hearts. It stands well for a long period giving you a productive crop for the winter months. Price for 40 seeds	Chicory Zoom F1 This is a vigorous new variety that you can use for delicious green salads in autumn and winter from a sowing in early summer. Simply cut as you would a lettuce from mid autumn, if broken off they can produce new smaller shoots for harvesting.
