Collard Georgia Southern This variety can tolerate all types of weather, slow to bolt in the summer and happy to be frosted if grown over the winter. They produce huge, cabbage like, crumpled, juicy leaves, which can be picked leaf by leaf or the entire plant can be cut while young – otherwise it will grow to 75-80cm! Collard Morris Heading With extremely tender, medium green leaves that are broad and slightly crumpled. These are a more compact variety that form loose heads of short steamed leaves. They are tolerant of heat and cold and very rich in vitamins and minerals. The juicy leaves have a mild cabbage flavour and are delicious boiled, steamed, or as an addition to salads. Allow 11-12 weeks before harvesting from sowing in Spring. In a mild area you can also sow in Autumn. Price for 20 seeds
