Kale Lacinato
This variety is an Italian heirloom, sometimes known as the Dinosaur kale as it is a rather primitive looking open variety. It has blue green strap leaves that are 7cm wide by 25-40cm long, very unusual. It is very tasty, either harvest leaves when young and tender or leave mature leaves to sweeten again after frost.
