The timing for featuring savory is perfect – the Ancient Egyptians used it in love potions! For more modern tastes both summer and winter savory are among the best herbs for using in the kitchen.
They are said to stimulate the appetite and help digestion, while you get familiar with the peppery flavour use in small amounts – particularly in salads. Both of our varieties go very well with rich meats, vegetables and will add depth of flavour to pulses.
