Oriental Tokyo Bekana A unique veg: when these grow you might think they look lettuce like with bright green ruffled leaves, they certainly go well in salads sweet and crunchy, but they will hold their own in cooked dishes too (sauté, stir fry, steam, braise or soups). It has grown well in a less than perfect summer and will provide fresh greens through the winter with protection.
